Curriculum is determined according to your child's age and readiness level.
The total program is planned to meet the following objectives.
- To encourage the healthy growth and development of the
child - socially, emotionally, cognitively, and physically.
- To provide a stimulating environment for learning.
- To provide an atmosphere of well-being, security, and love.
- To meet the individual needs of each child and of the
respective family.
A program is planned for each age group and is presented in a semi-structured
format. It is a total set of experiences provided for the children. It will
include planned learning centers and such activities as:
Individual free play, group time
Stories, books, poems, finger plays, songs, dramatic play
Painting, arts and crafts
Music and movement
Outdoor play and indoor gross motor activities
Field trips, puppet shows, speakers
Use of manipulatives
Science activities, cooking, growing plants
Play is your child's work: Play is
a fundamental part of the school program. It is the preschooler's way of finding
out about his/her world, of relating to others, of organizing their ideas, knowledge,
and feelings, of adjusting to the demands of their environment, of releasing
tensions and solving emotional problems, and of expressing themselves at a time
when language ability is insufficient to convey feelings. | |
